On August 8th 2014, the first National Allergy Summit took place in Sydney. It’s aim… to improve Australia’s treatment of allergic diseases with the creation of a National Allergy Strategy. Maria Said (President of Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia) gave a very interesting interview with ABC News leading up to the summit. Initial outcomes from the Allergy Summit agreed to the need for a National Allergy Strategy going forward which will be worked on over the next 6 months and an implementation meeting will be held in April 2015.
